« Samurai », by F.Y. Richard, voted ebook of the summer 2025!

“… To the right, a corridor. Opposite, it must have been the kitchen. It was ajar. A simple push and… In the torchlight, seated side by side at a table covered in a floral oilcloth, an elderly man and woman seemed to be patiently waiting for their evening brew.

‘Oops! G…Good evening! A thousand apologies! My colleague and I…’ It didn’t take long for Chomsky to realize that his excuses were useless. While he scanned the walls for the light switch, his young colleague noticed that the gentleman was wearing a blouse and the lady a man’s shirt. Oh no, in fact, it was even more astonishing!  So astonishing that he ran to the sink to throw up.”

The adult way

Try to think the adult way now and then. I know it’s hard. Especially when you’ve been told over and over again that children you were and children you should remain. Over and over. « Children of Israel ». « Children of God »… « Enfants de la Patrie »… « Voodoo Chile » (!)…  But just  bear in mind  that children are mistreated, children are starved (ask Netanyahu !), chidren are raped.

Therefore, for your own sake, try the adult way !

I’m not talking of what is juchremanly described as an « adult » of course, i.e the corrupted, misguided extension of a child. (Reading Homo juchremanensis might help you understand what adultness is about)
